Discover The Byre Cottage, a stunning open-plan barn conversion nestled in a tranquil, rural setting at the foot of the Preseli mountains. Recommended by National Geographic Traveller, The Telegraph, The Times, and The Independent as a Top 10 rural cottage getaway in the UK.
Comfort and Charm
The stone barn has been tastefully renovated with underfloor heating throughout, ensuring warmth and comfort. The open-plan living room, kitchen, and dining area, complete with a log burner, create a cosy atmosphere ideal for relaxation and socialising.
Bright and Well-Equipped
Enjoy the cottage’s bright and airy feel, enhanced by barn doors and roof lights. We have worked hard to fit out the kitchen with everything you might need including lots of pots and pans, a knife block & sharpener, wok and plenty of crockery and glasses etc.
Outdoor Relaxation
Step outside one of the two back doors and find yourself on your private patio with an outdoor dining table. Follow the stone path to the wood-fired hot tub, which is filled with fresh spring water sourced from beneath the farm and heated using a wood burner.
This natural heating method ensures a chlorine-free soak. We provide a dustbin of wood (additional wood available for purchase) for your convenience. Please note, heating the hot tub typically takes between 3 to 4.5 hours, depending on the outdoor temperature.
